An integrated flotation recovery solution

Our flotation chemical product range includes high-performance Collector, Frother and Modifier chemicals, each customised to specific ore types and manufactured to maximise mineral yield and grade.

Molycop’s LTM Level Probe provides accurate and effective pulp, slurry and water level measurement for the mining industry. The unique measuring principle of the LTM-2 allows it to measure the slurry level and ignore the froth component of the flotation cell.

Molycop customers can achieve a radical shift in flotation efficiency with Molycop OreVia. Installed above flotation tanks, OreVia provides real-time monitoring of froth pulp velocity and bubble size, detecting anomalies and maximising extraction efficiency. The system integrates with existing control systems from Molycop, offering remote monitoring and easy off-site evaluation and analysis via video demonstrations.

Agnico Eagle Fosterville Gold Mine (Fosterville) operates a gold plant in Australia comprising of a crushing and grinding circuit (SAG mill with a closed loop cyclone classification circuit) followed by flotation, bacterial oxidation and leaching circuits. The lack of surge capacity between the grinding and flotation circuit and restrictions on crushing operations due to noise constraints resulted in unique set of challenges, that required the implementation of a novel control solution using advanced instrumentation.
