This investment further augments Molycop’s world-class Indonesian operations and extends Molycop’s capability to assist customers by providing enhanced technical services, faster response times, and deeper insights to optimise the performance of their mineral processing circuits. 

The opening was attended by key members of the Molycop team, including Michael Parker, President Molycop Australasia, who was on site to support the occasion and recognise the efforts of the local team in delivering the project.

State-of-the-art metallurgy & mineral processing optimisation and research centre

Designed to enhance Molycop’s capability to provide value-adding technical services to its customers, the new laboratories now include the following capabilities:
 
  • Fully equipped material and metallurgical testing including specialised metallographic techniques.
  • Comprehensive mineralogy and particle size characterisation.
  • Mineral processing flotation simulation and evaluation.
