  • Molycop’s Norberto Ignacio Gonzalez said it was great to see so many people get involved in the worthwhile project.
Molycop’s Mexico team took part in a tree-planting initiative at its El Salto plant as part of Molycop’s commitment to a greener future. More than 60 employees, their families and suppliers participated in planting 60 trees at the plant.
In addition to tree planting, participants attended training sessions on climate change and the importance of reforestation, ensuring the initiative has a lasting educational impact. By fostering awareness and hands-on involvement, the project contributed to both a greener environment and a stronger sense of community.
Norberto Ignacio Gonzalez, Human Resources Manager in Mexico, highlighted the value of teamwork during the project.

“It was fantastic to see our employees, their families and suppliers come together for such an important cause,” Gonzalez said. “We enhanced the plant’s green spaces and shared a meaningful experience that reflects Molycop’s dedication to sustainability and community.”

Molycop thanks its employees for their enthusiasm and Bosque Urbano for their invaluable expertise and support to make this initiative a success.

The event concluded with a breakfast gathering to recognise and celebrate the collective effort. The project is one of many sustainability initiatives Molycop aims to implement to drive long-term positive impact.
